I’ve seen a number of comparisons of the iPhone 4s against the usual android suspects and even the Canon DSLRs (5D mkII and 7D) but none of them address the low light test. So, while visiting the Gerhard Richter exhibition at the Tate Modern, I took some test shots in the public areas and put them together with iMovie.
My impressions? Wow, I knew the iPhone should have been faster than its previous model but I wasn’t expecting this lowlight performance and increase in speed. Selecting, trimming, adding effects and rendering was much faster.
The result, although not probably going to win any awards, can be seen on my youtube account.
