Just some of the sea life encountered on my last trip to the Camel Dive Club in Sharm El Sheikh. It’s getting hot and there’s a large number of jelly fish in the water – thus the appearance of the Manta rays. While finishing my TDI Extended Range/Trimix course at 60m on Woodhouse reef we were pleasantly surprised to see a lone Thresher shark cruise on by. Unfortunately my current housing for my G10 is only rated to 40m so no photos – although I now have one rated to 60m all ready for the next trip.
This was also the first trip where I took my Sony MHS-PM5K camera along for a little 360˙ fun. I only shot a couple of movies but it appears to work well – once you remove the protective plastic cover!
Here’s the various formats of video : raw footage
Old school processed youtube (HD)
And the 360 flash player from Ruybin (click and drag around the video to change the point of view)
